If were on 'sovereign' land and have to rely on tribal police to protect us from aggressive tribal members that out rank them then it is not a safe place to be. And the casino seemingly kicked the ladies out. Ive never seen such scary intimidation in my life. Not sure what how it got resolved but those ladies are gone and that local family is still here. I overheard one of them saying that locals were from the tribe and were high up and so the security couldnt really do anything. And next you know they ladies were escorted out. Morongo Casino, Resort & Spa near Cabazon is set to open its hotel, casino and some of its restaurants with added safety measures in place, including temperature screenings and limited guest. The tribal police came and they seemed confused. These locals acted like they wanted to kill these poor ladies.
It looked like one or two of the ladies talked to management and before long there was a group of tribal people screaming and threatening them.
Today we were at the pool and there was a group of ladies minding their own business when some kids started throwing buckets of water on them. Weve camped before here and never had a problem.
